Budget Direct are reasonable too compared to RACV, around $100 cheaper last time I checked, however they have restrictions similar to Chrisk with my wife and I being nominated drivers, as well as age and non-nominated driver restrictions.
I don't race my car Ben, that doesn't make me a slow driver, but perhaps it's because I'm not 60 yet!

Not sure why others are paying well under what I pay - about $1000/y in Sydney and never made claim over 20 years! but then again it's the amount insured that will up it some what.

Hi guys, I've got my '06 WH CRD insured with Shannons for its agreed value (currently $30k) for $355 p.a. and they don't charge extra for monthly instalments either!

Don't forget to tell your insurer about any mods you have done, especially to the suspension.

If you have a lift and haven't told them (even a 2 inch one that is totally legal), or run slightly bigger tyres than normal and run up the back of a $200k Merc, you might not have any cover.

Anyone know a good insurer who allows mods and doesn't charge the earth for them?
