Could have just been a bit low as it had been sitting for a week, zero degrees where I live and only does short runs during the week normally.
Edit: interesting point about the remote. I have noticed a couple of times that the car has unlocked (and lights come on because it is in the garage) when I'm near by with my keys in my pocket. I assumed that the unlock button was accidentally being pressed when in my pocket, but maybe something else is going on.

I had this warning on my MY14 Overland previously, it was 3 years old and not had any issues with battery or starting etc. so first the warning message came up and then it started shutting things down like audio, climate etc. dropped it in at the dealer and they tried all sorts of things over the course of about a week. Changed the battery, then the alternator, then the battery again, then the body control module and eventually found a wire shorting through the firewall which they claimed was from accessories fitted by the auto spark so possibly driving lights or brake controller perhaps. Anyway they did it all under warranty, which makes me slightly suspicious but I went straight to the nearest bottle shop and took a carton back them regardless.
