Yesterday having a nice drive towing van along a supposed sealed road that wasn't and half way along near 200kms of bastard dirt road I had this horrible rattle/grind when slow braking for cattle grids, none when hard braking........ After much thought deduced bash plates loose or side steps, thankfully side steps, the bash plates took awhile longer so both need extra locktite and new spring washers when trip complete............. I hate dirt roads.........

I'm interested on hearing your thoughts on how this performs. I've been thinking of fitting one myself and geting rid of the aerial on the bull bar.

Get the 4db, it’s a noticeable difference night/day vs the 2db version.

I have previously ran the bull bar antenna for sometime and switched over for aesthetic purposes.

I looked at that one as 4db would suit me better than the 2db however it looks quite large in the photos. I might have to find a local supplier and have a look in person or make a mock up using the dimensions to gauge it's size.

The missus complains about the whip aerial enough without having one on the windscreen when she's the passenger

Yup the 4db is larger. I have both installed with the 2db disconnected now.

Here is mine, placed on the 3rd quarter panel window.
