I like that one...army trailer with a top box arrangement. Nice.

One problem with mine, because of the spare tyre height, I have to use an extension to the hitch.....not an issue for a light loaded box trailer, but could be an issue for a fully loaded camper trailer. At some stage, I may change hitch types to one of the offroad style hitches that don't require you lifting the trailer over the towball.

That doesn't look ideal

There is always a Tregg hitch it worked on my kj because I run TJ rubicon Moabs and 32's where a standard hitch would not work

Have a look at an Orac coupling, very low profile. If you do go for one get an Australian made one, the Chinese ones have been known to fail.

Tows well...really well, actually, and is easy to reverse.....but you're right, it isn't ideal at all. Pretty much a stop gap at the time. Looking at upgrading at some stage.

Chucked on a tyre carrier, relocated UHF antenna and replaced the dome lights with LEDs - I used the putco ones, 1000x brighter, wish I'd done em day one.

After being stuffed around with the wrong sized bags I've now got the right ones fitted. Went for Polyair ones so we'll see how they go.

I've also ordered another set of roof racks to add to the ones I have fitted at the rear of the hardtop so I can carry my kayak when I'm not taking the camper trailer with me.
