I have managed to get Google Picks to work in the past but it takes a reasonable amount of dicking about. Ultimately I had to access my G+ photos through a Picassa address which would allow me to post a direct link to the JPG file itself. I don't recall the specifics now but it was a real hassle and almost impossible to do through mobile.

If you have a look now, do you see them in the embed?

I found a hint that said if you add "?.jpg" it should work. I could see then already, so I don't know if it worked...

I had a mirror with screen & DVR before the just camera & display. It worked for maybe 12 months, I think. Hopefully those will last better. It also took up a LOT of front view space, which I hated.

edit: Nope, that didn't work either. You can only see the embedded images if you are logged into a Google account.

Nope, can't see them, even though I am logged into Google and even 'joined' your album.

BTW, another promising looking option I've just come across is Tview's RV808C:


Haven't looked at it in detail yet but it goes for about $150 on eBay and has an 8.8", 800x240 display in a 10.6"x4.3" form factor.
Might be worth checking out.
