Ok I'm now thinking about pulling the auto and transfer out ... cleaning them up and spraying them with some clear coat ......
In other words ... a shit load of work ....

Ok I've found the leak in the Quadratrac.
So I'll mark the driveshsafts tonight and pull out the transfer case.
Try and clean her up as it looks like she's got to come apart anyway.

Changed the coolant on Friday night pulled all of the heater hoses off. I'll pull out the heater in time as I plan to swap it with a Heater/AC unit.

I had a few minor problems with the exhaust shield and I'd recomend anyone with a quardratrac take it off before removing the trans. Let's just say there was a fair bit of swearing ... and oil .. did I mention oil ?
Anyway, I took it off and found it cracked. Welded it up and trimmed it down so putting the quadratrac back in should be easier. Welded the nuts on so I can just do it up from underneath. She's now ready to be dipped.
I had a two annoying dints in the tailgate. I'll have the tub rhino lined so I shouldn't have been too concerned. I filled the dints and brought it back. What you'd normally fill with bog or filler should be filled when it's galve dipped ...

The trans skid plate was catching oil, and was just shitting me.
Once removed I put an extra two holes in the skid plate to allow leaks, water or sand n shite being hosed off drain easier. Again ready to be dipped !
