Hey mate, here's my roof rack. I welded my internal brackets straight to the roll bar and bolted the roof rack rails straight through the fibreglass. Sealed it with black sikaflex. My hard top is glued on, so using sika didnt bother me!

Very nice Damxr !!!

Do you have any action shots !!
Loaded up, hitting the dirt !!

I was going to hard mount mine and at the last minute went with making the rack "bolt on" the external brackets.
I dropped the internal and external mounting brackets off to be powder coated on Monday, so they just might be ready for pick up on Friday - Fingers crossed.

Nah no action shots yet, only been on there a week! Hoping to some good pics over the next wks! Headn up north, just hope the rain goes!
Yeah my cage can be removed, its only bolted to the cross rails. They're hard mounted! Yeah all up mine took bout 4 days to build, and that was a day n a half at the powder coaters!! Look forward to seeing yours finished!

This was yesterdays efforts ... and it's pretty slow going today ... I've got sweat dripping onto the glasses ..

It's all a matter of cleaning everything up now ..

It looked way cleaner with the welds left alone but I needed the flat/flush surface ..

similar idea to what i have mine mounted. works great with my full length alloy rack on. we did an around aus trip including the simpson and canning well 33 nth and the kimberly. there is prob some pics on here of mine
