Default TJ: sht50 buildup

hey guys just thought i would throw this together to show you what i went from to what it is now.

it started off as a bone stock 05 wrangler with a 2" lift

from there it got a body lift and 32" bighorns

i also bought a hardtop for it

it was at this stage i wanted some more flex and a bit more height, i bought some 3.5" springs and used shocks. and found i had to spend a heap more money to go this big in a wrangler.
So i bought a slip yoke eliminator kit which basically replaces the crap slip yoke on the transfer. and also adjustable control arms.

my next issue was traction and gearing. while the $$$ was good i bought 4.56 ratios and a detroit locker from the states for a reasonable price, i also bought a 4wd lokka for the front.

and then as of last week i got a set of new boots in the form of 35" maxxis creepy crawlers

and that is how it sits as of the moment next on the cards is a winch, some beadlocks and half doors.

umm if i had it over again definetly arb lockers the front locker was fine with the
32's but with the 35's i think it is just asking for trouble in a d30.

went out to glasshouse mountains for a bit of a wheel. didnt go to bad apart from one broken flare, torn off mudflap and a longside front axle.
