Coming along nicely there Kiwi, wish I had any progress on my projects.
Lucky to get hold of the right body for that and the matching bolt holes ia just fantastic. That towbar looks like it will outlast the rest of the Jeep.
Keepup the good work!

Well still looks the same
went to work on it a couple of weeks ago at work got highly p@#@$@d off hooked up A frame and towed home once it was running
put in the garage at home and remove the rear wheels, drums etc then next day thought I'll just remove right front guard weeeellllll couple of hours later I had a pile of bits off grill, bonnet, radiator both guards and most of the wire disconected
removed front tyres last weekend and tried to remove drums broke brake pipes bleed screws and couldn't turn the right drum but got it off tonight I hit carefully ?? the back of the brake cyc and hep presto the drum came off both sides
have bolted on the rear body and was measured up for add ons and rock sliders
so am getting there slower than planed but every bit counts

i'm very envious of this build....

although, if it were mine, body wise i would keep it in the state you have it in, in this shot

then add a tough drive train and some skinny boggers... say 38x11.15x15

mmmmm... barn fresh

but i'm sure whateva you do to it it will be sweet

cheers pezz
need one that i can carry stuff on but will end up looking something like that
well now missing front hubs at work in bits need 4 new bearings then back together tow to work for date with steam cleaner and pull body off once the steel turns up mind you aint costing me once the bodies off should be full steam ahead
still don't know which way i'm going with the roll cage might just do one behind the cab in the short term
this stuff takes more time than planned and the bank accounts nearly empty again hopefully all i need to buy are bearings and paint top coat still don't know what colour prob green to suit canvas top
and yes barn fresh the garage smells funny now!!!

Maybe if you had started with something actually made by Jeep in good old USA, you wouldn't need t fix so much up on it.
