Mine was the prototype. The unit is simply placed into the wiring loom of the air suspension controller.

The controller for the unit is a simple knob. Turning it left lowers the suspension. Turning it right effectively engages the next highest suspension setting. So, one click right - clockwise - makes road height Offroad 1 and tuning it again makes off road 1 into Offroad 2.

This means you can drive faster without the car lowering.

Cheers

PS. It is basically the same as the LLAMS for the Discoveries that has been around for many years.

Ok

So you don’t need to touch the factory buttons in the car any more ?

With the knob turned, when you select offroad 1, you get off road 1 height, but at any speed instead of being speed limited. It also allows a slightly higher setting than offroad 2 in case you get hung up.

For full details, just google llams suspension.

The first hit details the Land Rover Discovery version which is basically the same thing and then, a few hits lower down is the Davis Performance description of the Jeep version. Read them both.

Cheers

Had Llams on my Disco 4. Very clever kit.

Works really well and not hard to fit.

Cheers, Craig
