Default WK2 little niggles

Guys, I've had our WK2 for about 6 weeks now and I love it! That being said I'm starting to notice a few niggles here and there.

1. When making a bluetooth call, the left hand speaker activates, not the right hand one (I'm in a right hander).
2. The driver memory doesn't seem to be working correctly, as it doesn't seem to be keeping it's settings.
3. It does weird things sometimes, like when I fold the mirrors electrically, sometimes they open automatically when starting the car, sometimes they don't.
4. The iPod always starts with the first song and doesn't start where it was switched off.

But the most annoying and worrying one is the transmission. It works, it shifts very well most of the time, but if I am driving in slower conditions (<50kmh), like in a residential area, the gearbox seems to lose the plot a bit. It shifts at odd moments and gets quite jerky.

The car has been back for a gearbox update and that seemed to work for the first couple of weeks, but now it seems to have come back.

AND I still don't have a user manual! Which really shits me.

Still love the car though. We've been off road and despite not have quadralift, I've been through the roughest terrain and never got bogged.

Yes it's a 5 speed, all 2011 models are 5 speeds. It shifts fine accelerating, slower or faster, it doesn't matter. It's just not smooth when driving softer below 50km/h. The shifting is harsh and at the wrong moments.

I drove a VW Passat V6 DSG and that is ultra smooth.

Yes my GC is a limited.

I have the GC Laredo and find the exact same problem with the shifting at lower speeds. For me, it seems to really slam the up shifts almost trying to get back into a lower rev range.

I have also found (not sure if it is with all new GC's) that when creeping along such as freeway on ramps between 5-10kph, the auto almost seems to be whining or rubbing and makes a weird noise.

My v6 does the same thing, always tries to get to a higher gear, from the lights it will go fist, second, then straight into third, have to give it a boot to keep up with the traffic and watch the economy in the evic take a hit.To go to work I go down Princess highway and turn into Frankston/Dandenong road, which has a slight incline over the railway line, if i go around on a steady throttle it will come to a near stop and will not go down untill i give it a real boot or use it manually, which i should not have to do. In slow crawling traffic it can be embarrassing for passengers, especially critical ones, sitting in this quite, comfortable, nice looking thing, and it seems to be stumbling along, not quite knowing what gear to be in.Very, very dissappointed.I have come out of a Ford Explorer and at 250,000 klm was super smooth.Im pretty sure there is nothing wrong with it, just poor match with the v6 which is pretty harsh and sluggish.Love the car, hate the gearbox and little bit of the engine
Must mention my dealer has been great. Not sure if i can mention the Name. (Frankston)
