Ah ha! Baby tacho. Aren't the gauges PCM controlled? How much effort is involved in getting those vdo items to work?

well really i dont need a tacho
will help with diagnosis of dead trans (touch wood)

pre update gauges are stand alone
so making them work is very easy

Yeah fair enough, I use my tacho a lot but it's just personal preference. I like the look of separate gauges! And there are certainly a few benefits to a pre update. Great work so far mate.

Going to cut arrows for the indicator lights and a highbeam light
Mount it all and call it a day
