Does this thing has anything in common with other Jeeps? But why do I then find this product when I search for clutch for a Jeep WG CRD 2.7?
Edit: Well I did a bit more research. My bad (well to my defence I never had a transmission removed and did not pay much attention) but the one piece I was looking for seems to be from a manual (did not know that this would even exist on a WJ / WG). So all is good, just got a rising knocking in my head after all the stuff I went thru with it already. I looked up a how to do a stall test and will do one tomorrow. What I can tell so far is, that I have some delay till the reverse gear jumps in and certainly a delay in when the transmission engages. I can feel that it is in but does not grab, then seems to slowly kick in before it is then really full engaged and due to the high rev I have to be careful that the car is not going sideways. I feel a bit the same when I going in D uphills.
