Default new clutch

It looks like my clutch is on the way out. It takes quite some engine rpm for the clutch to engage, esp. when I am in reverse.

Does anyone have a good recommendation on which clutch brand is decent here in Australia? I browsed thru google and you get prices from 160 to 1100 Dollar, depending how nuts you want to go.
It would be even better, if someone has the part number on this.

I think you mean the torque converter

You could do a stall speed test first and foremost if you suspect trouble with the converter.

No, I did not mean the torque converter.

It is this part I am talking about. I simply think it is worn out and has not been replaced in a long time.

I really hope it would not be the torque converter since it will be yet another messy job.

The 2.7 has a "regular" automatic transmission with a torque converter. No dry clutch, no flywheel.

Does this thing has anything in common with other Jeeps? But why do I then find this product when I search for clutch for a Jeep WG CRD 2.7?

Edit: Well I did a bit more research. My bad (well to my defence I never had a transmission removed and did not pay much attention) but the one piece I was looking for seems to be from a manual (did not know that this would even exist on a WJ / WG). So all is good, just got a rising knocking in my head after all the stuff I went thru with it already. I looked up a how to do a stall test and will do one tomorrow. What I can tell so far is, that I have some delay till the reverse gear jumps in and certainly a delay in when the transmission engages. I can feel that it is in but does not grab, then seems to slowly kick in before it is then really full engaged and due to the high rev I have to be careful that the car is not going sideways. I feel a bit the same when I going in D uphills.
