Default TURBO DIESEL GRAND CHEROKEE
Hey, has anybody got any reports / reviews on the turbo diesel Grand Cherokee. Although the 2.7ltr motor seems to push the Mercedes 4x4 around o.k., not sure whether its much cop in the Grand. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

also been keeping my eye out for reports etc

The GC is 200 kg lighter than the merc from what I hear so it should be a ripper

Default TURBO DIESEL GRAND CHEROKEE
I had a ride ( not drive ) in one yesterday. It went like greased lightning. ( Dont think we were meant to dragging it off the lights but we were )Sounds really nice from inside the cab. Sounds pretty nice on the outside too. Overall pretty smooth running and well put together package me thinks. Was told they are about $63,000. It evidently chews bugger all fuel.

Default Turbo Diesel
I have now done 4000k in my GJ, some off road ..added LRT 130l & ARB front locker,Poly bags PC mount & GPS & usual Bullbar etc .I am very impressed with the 2.7 & auto. ..modified the mudflaps so they don't get ripped off. Biggest issue is lag before turbo cuts in but it sure goes after that!. Way I drive I get about 10l/100k on highway( sure beats the 18l/100k I got from the 4.0!) It toes my camper with ease & is a great tourer the 400Nm means change down is rare
