Default Catch cans

Hi have used a few different catch cans over the years, some completely useless, one home made and some good ones including the provent. I ended settling on the last 2 being HPD cans. They are great quality, filter well and have a dipstick for you check the oil level easily. Not cheap, around the same price as the provent but are cleanable as you don't have to replace the filter every 80k.

I have contacted HPD and they don't have one currently (bracket that is) but are looking for someone to drop their car in for a look. I live in WA so know where near Edwardstown SA. Is there anyone willing to drop their GC WK2 in discounted catch can.

I have no affiliation with HPD, just know they good quality products (had a intercooler for my pathfinder off them too). Contact them if interested?

I just found this in the latest Australian Automotive Aftermarket Magazine I get Monthly:
Flashlube are the company selling the unit here.
What I like about it has a replaceable filter and it's equipped with pressure & vacuum relief.

Catch Can Pro - http://www.flashlube.com/en/products/catch-can-pro.html

Part # FCC R/R $260
Filter FCCE R/R $92.15 (suggest replace every 20K)

I just purchased a unit direct from them, very helpful.

I'll be interested in any feedback you may have, mounting method, effectiveness etc

I had a Provent 200 on my WH Grand and now on the WK2.
Oil stays really clean and it's good to know that the crap spent oil is not being passed back through the system.
I have a ball valve just under the catch can which can be easily reached. The tube connected under the catch can comes out just under the underbody of the vehicle.
I have an icecream container to collect the oil. Check it about once a month or after a long trip.
It is mounted against the air cleaner box.

Cheers, Craig
