Forum lay out threads

hey guys,
i've been through all the FAQ's and i've been through my UserCP stuff to try and figure this out and i THINK it's just a simple thing i'm missing..

create a thread.
my thread at the top
some one replies it goes below the origional thread
some one replies it goes underneath the origional thread and the other replies.
EG:

MY OP
1st reply
2nd reply
etc. etc.

2ND page.. ect ect...

for some reason THIS forum in every area lists mine opposite,
newest reply on page 1 at the top, and then the Origional Thread last page at the bottom..

i'm not sure it this a setting on the forum that i can change or is it specifically designed this way on this forum??

any adviso's would be awesome...

Have you tried "Display Modes" in the top RH corner?

Click on 'Your Account' above
Choose 'User CP' from the drop down box
See 'Control Panel' on the LHS
Under 'Settings and Options' - choose 'Edit Options'
Under 'Thread Display Options' 2nd box 'Thread Display Mode'
Choose 'Linear - oldest First'

And you're done

HEY!!@!!!!

it's alive and working. champion, i didn't fiddle with THAT option and it's the only one i foudnt hat was close the way it's worded i didn't like, as it didn't list "posts" only threads and i didn't want my threads showing up newest on the oldest page. all fixed now!

thanks for your advise Perhaphs, this could become a FAQ??
