Default Ronny Dahl defends the XJ Cherokee in latest Youtube video

In an earlier post below (under Expert Tips), I have provided a link where Ronny Dahl sets up an XJ Cherokee as a test rig. I mentioned in the post that he looked like he enjoyed throttling the XJ and punishing it to no end.

http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=154896

Now he has posted kind of like a go-between video where he answers some viewer remarks from video part 1 of 2 ahead of the release of part 2 of 2, why not to use a tow ball in a recovery.

At around the 9 min 10 sec mark, he looks at a viewer comment: "Why is everyone always beating on the Cherokees?" [This question resonates frequently about Jeeps in general - check out another expert tip thread about FNQ and Jeeps overheating... ]

Ronny's answer of course, will not surprise anyone in this forum....

For light entertainment, be sure to read some poor pootrol driver's Jeep envy in the Youtube comments.

Andrew Collins has picked up the video on Jalopnik.com

IIRC, Ronny's dad occasionally featured (green JKU) in some of his earlier videos, and one could speculate or even extrapolate, that the XJ was perhaps a hand me down daddy car at one point.

Regardless of whether it is true or not, .... I for one, will not be handing my XJ down to anyone, until I am in a different kind of BOX....

Hi Guys, It's great to see Ronny Dahl defend the XJ Cherokee in his latest YouTube video. The XJ is a classic and iconic SUV, and it's nice to see it getting some recognition. Ronny's knowledge and passion for off-roading make him a credible source of information, and I appreciate his perspective on this vehicle.
