Default 15x8 with 30x9.5 BF All terrains, can you run this and pressure down?

Hi,
I have googled this question and the answers are so mixed. Some tyre shops say yes they will put my 30x9.5 tyres on my new 15x8 rims and others wont. Some people say they run this setup with no problems at all and others tell me that this setup is fine provided I dont drop the tyre pressure otherwise they will "pop" off the rims. They also have concerns with how they will look on the rims?
Does anybody have 15x8 with 30x9.5 that they use offroad with low PSI?
Any help and advise would be much appreciated, Thank you.

What you may find is some shops won't fit them because it is illegal in some states (eg. SA) for tyre shops to fit 30s on XJs. It is not the width but rather the overall dimension.

According to BF Goodrich's own website that tyre is specified to run on a 6.5" ~ 8.5" rim
