Those with front lockers, how much steering do you loose with it engaged in lose/rocky terrain?

Default Too many tyre shops can't read!

Based off the 15mm VicRoads rules, most 33s would be too big as well.

I can't be bothered doing the conversion, but from my understanding 32" plus a little bit more is all you can fit within roadworthy.
In Victoria you can LEGALLY increase your suspension height by 50mm and increase the diameter of your tyres by 50mm.

That overall gives you a 75mm maximum legal lift without engineering.

The stock 245/75/17 are 799mm in diameter and a 295/70/17 is 845mm, 6mm under maximum.

I think I misread the Option 2 in the vicroads doc.

The tyre I am looking at comes in a 32.71" and a 34.36". Tossing up which way to go??

Cheers, Craig
I've also preferred 33.3s when in low range. I don't do that much rock crawling stuff, just really steep tracks, and first low was giving me the shits because it was too slow. Slightly larger tyre and it's just right now.
