Default '03 TJ Wrangler U-Joint Issues...

G'day all,

I'm hoping someone out there can help... 'cos I'm honestly sick to death of this...

The issue is, I'm going through U-Joints like a fat kid through cake...

I've got a Rugged Ridge SYE kit and a Tom Woods 1310 rear shaft..

First time was last Monday, I THINK I caused the issue by going up a rocky hill and hitting it on a rock, maybe..

So the shaft was pulled out, limped home in front wheel drive..

Fixed it Sunday (Yesterday) around lunch time.. Greased it all up nicely, bolted it in, checked movement, all good..

Went out bush, had a bit of fun.. Still all good... Towed the brother home.. Still fine.. Head to the car wash, turn the corner, accelerate a little, bang, it's gone, a-bloody-gain..

So in owning this car all of 4 months, I've broken 3 Uni's, and destroyed a rear shaft..
Granted, the rear shaft and first Uni was down to sheer stupidity more than anything..
And the second (I'm still not convinced..) but I'll put that down to the rocky hill..
But, seriously.. A brand new Uni, all of 5 hours out of the box, and it's dead..

I've got ANOTHER Uni, new strap-thingos and bolts coming today..
It's going to a mechanic, and they can bloody well install it.. THEN see what happens..

But more or less, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas? A fix? A complete replacement involving magical fairy dust to solve all my problems..
I've only own the car 4 months, and I'm honestly toying with the idea of selling it now...
And I REALLY don't want to...

Anyone??
