Default Ottoway Engineering? Anyone know anything?

Hey people. this is more an SA question but others might know. I got a random call from Ottoway engineering loooking for me.. they got my resume somehow and called me up. I have an interview on monday, im just wondering if an yones had an experiance with them as a worker or anything at all?

Because ive looked at about 5 companies and atm, they are all wan*&$@ i know they have a business to run, but not allowing workers to have a smoko, only 30min lunch and 9 hour+ days, aswell as continually hammering empolyees backs about doing there job when they are! is not for me.

So any help would be cool.. cheers

I work for one of the largest energy companies and they have done projects with us in the Oil and gas pipeline field.

I don't know what they are like to work for but we are a very risk adverse company so they would have gone through a long tender process to get our work, therefore they must be pretty good at what they do.

I have just been on the phone to my brother who lives in SA and he said he has heard of them, he thinks they are not a very large company, but he honestly can't recall too much about them. I know this isn't really helpful info ARCB, but my brother has his own business, and he does a fair bit of work around. At least he has heard of them.

Just another thought, you could always visit the ASIC website and do a check on the company there.

The pay will suck, you've just got to look at it as an investment in your future. Just keep thinking of the big bucks you'll make when you're finished
