Came home yesterday and opened the garage to see this

Makes it hard to stay focused and finish the engine when I've got these sitting behind me

Nar, these are the next size up - fabbed 14 bolt by torq motorsports. 10.5 ring gear size. The front has dana 60 outers as 14 bolts are normally only rear axles. Theres better pics he sent me on the previous page. I don't really want to try and get them out yet as I've run out of garage space and can't get my engine crane in close enough to lift it.

Maybe for dana 30/44? I know it converts to high steer which isn't ideal for everyone. Though anything is possible with a bit of fabb work

Nice work mate! I noticed you mentioned you may have issues with track width increase - thats track width increase for the current axle, not for a new axle. Brother-in-law changed diffs in a Patrol he was building up a year a so ago and was allowed to get away with 3in track increase as 2 of these inches were made up by wider diffs, so that should not be a problem for you.

Short update on whats happening.
Started going through the engineering checklist today. Was supposed to do a dyno run, emission and noise test.
Failed emissions pretty bad which I thought would happen. Now off to find some ve or bf cats off a holden or ford.
Failed noise test as well by 8 decibels. Hopefully the cats might quieten her down a bit. Ran out of time to do a dyno run, but at a guess be around 300 to 320hp at the wheels

So if anyone is thinking of getting the engine swap kit, bear in mind the whole exhaust system they provide to you will be useless and don't get it.
