Going with Rock Krawler DIY reverse triangulated 4 link rear with a 4-6 inch stretch, was hoping to outboard the shocks but not possible without frenching the frame (illegal to do over here) or really wide axles which makes it harder to engineer/ fun police will constantly pull me over. Synergy 5 link front with a 1 inch stretch all on 2.5 inch king coil overs, 14 inch travel and air bumps.

Exhaust blokes still haven't finished (been flat-out as a drag comp and power cruise is coming up with their regular customers), got one of the extractors to do. So basically that means bugger all will get done. Will get some measurements to get a rear driveshaft made up. Also looks like I'm swapping jobs to a 4 n 1 roster which will slow it down even more, was hoping to get this engine done this year...

Good news on axles though as they are almost finished
Front and rear housings

Reid racing knuckles

Hubs n whatnot

Awesome build, really like watching it's progress.

Just out of curiosity, you mentioned your roster 4-1. Where you working, oil & gas....mining ???

I was on 3-1 working for BHP at Whaleback, Newman WA. I'm originally an Adelaide boy.

Yeh mining, currently on a 2-1 in karara (inland from geraldton) but starting a new one for BHP in Jimblebar which is down the road from newman.

You must like the 4wding you got over there ay?
I'm always watching videos from the jko and jkf forum that members put up in the states. I'm hoping to go see the king of the hammers in 2014

Got the jeep back today. Extractors turned out great, MCE did a top job. Nothing too exciting done today, just plumbed up some of the hoses for ac, radiator and air intake. Just gotta fill up the oils, neaten up the wiring and finish off a plug and i'll finally get to turn her on! Should have a clip tomorrow of the start up.
Can finally see the light now. Still gotta get the last of the hoses made up and rear driveshaft modified but next r&r she should be on the road.
Hoping to take her for a spin in the dunes on the lancelin jeep run 1st of december. She won't be run in properly and only be 2wd but the diffs will at least have a chance when i give it some.

Well ran into more dramas. Basically the radiator shroud is too deep and clashes with a few things. I've had a re-look at past members installs and they all have a piece of aluminium sheet on the back which the fan bolts to giving more clearance and they also had a different fabricated part for the throttle body to the manifold. Mine steps forward thus losing more clearance.
I can only spin the throttle body 180° with the way the bolts line up and if I do then I'll have to cut a hole in the bonnet...
Sooo I've just got the radiator on so enzed can make up the rest of the hoses as bascially none either fit or just look shit with bunky joiners here and there...not something you want to use on power steering/radiator lines.

Had to send a few emails to burnsville, hopefully they'll respond.
If I could give one suggestion if you're thinking about this kit...don't get a manual.

Its getting very frustrating, as little things like this will delay me a month each time, at least.

The useless shroud, along with many parts
