the feet will fit either model, the bars on the WH however are longer then the WG given the difference in width.

The feet on the bars are ajustable ? aren't they ?? If so the WH should fit the WG rails and if they are longer then it shouldn't be too hard to shorten them, I hope.

the feet will fit either model, its the actual rail across the roof that is different.

we've got the same racks on our WH that came off our WG, the only thing we had to change were the rails, coz the WG ones were too short.

I actually want to upgrade my cross bars. What do you guys have in the way of aftermarket crossbars and how do they fit?

I would like ones that fit onto the factory rails, look factory, and don't add any extra height (ie not the ones with a 20mm square tubing that sit on top of the rails). And I especially want them to be dead flat (unlike the factory crossbars which have a curve in them making it difficult to fit roof racks that are rigid and won't conform to the curve once bolted down... ) The one's I want do exist, I've seen them on other WJ/WG's but just don't know what brand they are (I have a funny feeling they might be Rola..?).

My factory crossbars have started to rattle where they mount to the rails (due to the above mentioned roof rack trying to 'flatten' my factory crossbars when being clamped down and stressing the mounts), so when everything is loaded up and I hit bumps the whole roof rack moves up and down about 5mm which is enough to make a decent clunk!

dad has Rhino Racks on his WH (carried over fromt the WG) but the Rola are identical in shape and design...

if i remember rightly, theres not too much difference between the 2 brands in price.

Rola you'd pay somewhere around $320 for a 2-bar set up. i think its roughly the same for Rhino, but both are very strong and reliable, they aint gonna break or bend anytime soon.
