I'll have to talk to the tyre place about pressures, when I had Mickey Thomsons on the cruiser I talked to the distributor and they said mid 30s citing the stronger sidewalls as the reason for lower pressure. So I've kept it the same for the STMaxx.....
Hi Benn0, I have the wheels on my vehicles rotated & balanced every 10,000 Klm's. Get them done straight after each service as a reminder.

I have found that tyre pressures vary a lot from vehicle to vehicle and also what you are using the vehicle for. For instance, you can have the same make of tyre on the same make of vehicle, yet one of the vehicles tows regularly, therefore the tyre will wear differently to the non regular towing vehicle......if that makes sense.

By having them checked every 10,000 Klm's, the tyre place can adjust your pressures to suit your driving habits.

Works for me.................

Cheers, Craig

Yeah, I just clicked over 10,000kms, due for a rotate and get them to check how they are wearing. They look good to me.

Got my ST Maxx on my Jeep finally, reasonably impressed with grip levels in the wet, they definitely put too much air in there, 44 ish psi after heating up, think i'll go for 2.5 bar or 36 psi cold.

I'm convinced they dropped the ride height on the MY2015 steel spring versions at the front but no apparent rubbing.

Approximately 21mm taller after the tyre change if the OD on the Coopers site is correct.

I will no longer be so concerned when crossing those 520mm deep water crossings.

Default Off roads for 2014 Overland

AlanR - New to Jeep.
Got the 2014 Overland with QL which comes with the 20 inch alloy and Kumho's (265/50/20) and an 18 inch steel ? spare (245/65/1. All OK for city - but not an off road option.
Seeking comment on getting a set (maybe 6) of off-roads: BJ-Tmart suggested 18 inch (8''diam) dynamic steels ($169 each) with Dick Cepek's Trail Country (265/60/1 at $299 as an option for swapping to go touring on (nothing serious off road).
How do these rims/treads go? And can I assume that one will fit in the spare wheel well
