Front Dana 44 from a JK will be a straight swap into a Jk that had a D30. Only things to consider:
- Regearing
- locker switch, you will need to wire this off the factory e-locker into a normal rocker switch, 2 wires get discarded (as they are ones that disable in 4hi/2hi), other two are the engage/disengage wires.
- check that pinion flange is same and that it hasn't got an aftermarket pinion yoke
Everything else is just straight swap across unless something aftermarket has been changed.
