So I had my S33 recall carried out at SVM in Mosman and they told me they knew nothing about a recall for a passenger airbag at all

I also didn't get a new airbag unit, just a clockspring

I had mine down today for the S33 and others, (passenger airbag is S43 and the parts aren't available yet. I wonder now if my passengers need to start wearing kevlar in case of an accident...), buit it seems that today was only the inspection to verify if it needed them, (it does get all 3), before they place the VIN specific order for the parts.

Now I have to see how long before they get here.

The towbar one apparently installs a brace or replaces the OEM tobar with a stronger(?) unit. Mine seems to be OEM so is getting replaced.

About 10 days ago got an email from the dealer that parts were in for recall. Booked it for today. Dropped it 08:00 to get all three recalls done. An hour later got a call they can't do the recalls as not all parts were in (original email was incorrectly sent). Got it back in the evening with nothing done.

Now I have to wait for another who knows how many weeks....

I'd send them a bill for the time & fuel. I wouldn't expect them to do anything about it, but it might make a point...

So, as I mentioned earlier, got the recall (S33) message. Ring. No can do. No parts. Ring in a month. So I ring in a month. Can u bring the vehicle in so we can see if it needs doing and if we have the parts? What? What? You sent me a letter. Remember.

When do u want the JK, I ask. Earliest 3 weeks. 3 weeks pass... still no parts.

Jeep, WTF? Stick it up your clacksie!!!

Well may u ponder why Jeep sales have dropped 50% in the last year. There ain't nothing u can do, extended (useless) warranty, driver assist (as long as the vehicle goes to a crap soaked Jeep dealership for 5 years) or whatever else may be offered, that will make me want to buy Jeep ever again. It's not the cars' faults, it's the friggin' dealers. Oh, if only more would go to the wall!!
