Started test fitting my new wheels 16x7 0-offset, just got the one tyre fitted up at the moment to see if it will actually clear without major surgery, they are a 255/85/R16 Yokohama G003. At the moment it looks like I'll only need to flatten the pinch weld plastic and the rear wheel arch lip.

Jack up the rear to simulate flex and I think you will get contact, I did with +30 offset so I think 0 offset is more then likely.

Replaced the front driveshaft out of teansfer case CV Joint. Noticed a slight clicking at slow speed last week and within a few days major vibration and clunks. Boot seems to have gone missing long ago and dry as.

Tackled some major issues this weekend, new driveshaft CV and Superpro front diff bushes.
Both were well overdue to the point I've been cautious driving for the last few months wondering if the diff was about to fall out or the CV was about to disintegrate.

Did the job in my mates driveway and used the ratchet strap/hanging method for getting to the bushes. Not the worst job but hope I never need to do it again.
I highly recommend the strap method instead of full removal. Saved heaps of effort without removing suspension/driveshafts and we never had to carry the full weight of the diff, it was always supported by either the straps or a jack.

End result is she's now buttery smooth. No more clunks changing gears, no more knocks over speed humps, no more high speed grinding from the CV, I can actually enjoy driving it again

Can you review the superpro diff bushes? Did they go in OK and how are they riding now? Any extra drive line vibrations?
I went with Jeeperf heavy duty front diff bushes they did not last 6 months daily driving and 3 moderate-difficult trips to 4wd parks in SE QLD, I was pretty disappointed. Been needing new bushes for a while now...
