Can I ask how did you go with the install, and did you get the timing belt tool set as well??

Are those prices on their website AUD, thinking they are USD but?? and what were the freight costs like.

Thinking of the thermostat as well.

Arrrr

No problem mate and welcome back

All prices listed are in US dollars. I didn't get a tool with it and had the work done by Hills 4X4. Ian didn't have any problems with the supplied parts at all.
Here is what I got from ID pats:
1 x Hayden Heavy Duty Fan Clutch $59.95
1 x Timing Belt Kit (Liberty CRD)
- Harmonic Balancer Bolts:
- Water Pump: Graf
- Timing Belt Cover Gasket: Full Gasket Kit $438.95
Sub-Total: $498.90
United States Postal Service (Priority Mail International®): $113.70
Total: $612.60

Hope this helps.

Nice, thanks for getting back to me.

Was thinking about the fan clutch as well, may as well swap everything out whilst it's apart.

Haven't decided if I will do the work myself or get someone to do it for me, will have to read the part fiche and a few write-up's over on LOST .

Just need to keep the cost under 1000.00 for import so as it doesn't get customs on it. (had that happen recently with a 22yr old camera lens I purchased 2nd hand in a private sale from a guy in the states. Still shaking my head on that one...)

Also need to look into ball joints

I have done the fan because of the hot tune i am running and beach running we do plus it wasn't that expensive and at 200'km down it was time.
I have a work shop manual on cd. If you like i can make a copy for you.

I think I have a manual somewhere myself, I'll have a look thru some old harddrives on the weekend.

I agree, it makes sense to swap what you can when things are apart, plus, the fan clutch diddn't seem that expensive anyway.

Will hopefully post up a pic or two this weekend of progress.

Guys, the Hayden Severe Duty Fan Clutch is the one I am running, its been working perfectly for years.

I would use IDParts for the Timing Belt kit:

https://www.idparts.com/timing-belt-...rd-p-2721.html

currently its only $399 USD and shipping takes a week. Obviously there is a shipping charge too. The kit includes a new water pump! I will be looking to change my water pump the next time I do the timing belt.

IDParts have an extensive inventory of KJ CRD parts and service stuff, including the VM tools. They have also just released a $99 injector puller, which is a bargain if you think your going to need to change them at some point.
