Default Winch on OEM Bar

I saw on ebay a mob that sell cradles to accept winches for about $120, so I was thinking if it's possible and practical to modify the WG OEM alloy bar to accept a winch rather than buying another bar? I know I may need to cut and drill but that would be OK I suppose. Any one done this? Thanks guys.

I'm a novice at this - You're probably right - But does the winch attach to the bar or the plate it sits on which i believe strandles the chassis rails.?

This has been done in the US with the factory plastic bar.
The winch attatches to a plate which goes onto the chassis.
Ive looked at the pheasability of doing this with the Mopar bar & reckon it could be done but would require a lot of work.Would have to cut a large amount of the radiator support crossmember out to recess winch enough to fit into the shallow Mopar bar.

there'd be alot of cutting and relocating to put a winch in behind an alloy, certainly never in the world would i mount a winch onto the bar itself...

i think it would be cheaper and more conveniant to even track down a 2nd hand steel bar if you werent fussy about what you put on the front...
