Default rough idle...
oh man, now it idles rough.
no real biggie, but its annoying. when i got the car, it ran beautifully. we had an overheating prob. which we have dealt with, but since i put the thermostat in, with new housing and top hose, the bl00dy thing idles really rough on first start up, like its firing on 4 or 5 cyls. leave it for a minute and then give it a rev and all is good with the world. runs nice. wtf.

any advice is good advice

Take the intake hose off the throttle body. You will see a slot just above the butterfly. Using a can of throttle body cleaner, spray in this slot until you see it running out clean from the slot just below the butterfly. This cleans the IAC or Idle Air Circuit. It gets gummed up after a while and does not move properly.
