So I decided to put a plug on the harness for the switch panel, so I can unplug it if I need to remove the center console.

Running out of Deutchs Connectors and braided sleeve, but luckily still had a few including a 6 pin one which was all I need at the moment..will have to remember to order some more tomorrow

Another day and some bits have arrived and some more $$ out the wallet..

RuffStuff Diff cover arrived with one of their "the Cure" things. Loots the goods so tomorrow will put a drain plug in it and fit it up and fit up their Cure (thought it was worth seeing what difference it makes)

Been looking for some recovery points and found these :

So ordered a two sets to have a look at. They are Steel, 1/2 inch base, 3/4" mount to suit a 3/4 d-ring..if they don't work on the XJ (cant see why not) then I have some other uses for them.

Not much done today despite best plans..ended up helping a mate make up some extinguisher brackets and a few things in the shop.

but did manage to finish the wiring and mounted up the switch panels..

Fitted the RuffStuff Diff cover after putting in a drain plug..but it looks like its going to foul on the Panhard so need to get it up on the hoist and have a look and a head scratch about what way to go to fix it. I have been looking at putting a double sheer panhard in or something similar so need to have a think about which way to go.

I have been thinking of making a new nbr plate bracket so I can still put my Wheelie Bag on the bag for weekends away etc.

A few weeks ago I saw a mate of mine at Solve Offroad and he showed me a bracket he made for his JK.

So today I had a couple of hours this afternoon and knocked up a rough bracket based on what my mate did. Not entirely happy with it as I was a bit rushed so may remake it.

My dirty bag simply straps over the spare on the back. Simples.
