Do they even have records of type of trans? Get rid of any auto badges.

LOL... thanks guys...

Got it home. Seems to be stuck in 4x4. Developed BAD binding on the 1.5klm trek down this blokes driveway.. odd, but oh well. Body seems ok, a little rust, but so far nothing that induces a heart attack. Fixable at least. I think the head gasket is blown. Has a water leak too, unless it's the blown gasket causing pressure buildup, pushing the water out.

Needs a mega ultra super clean!!!! Moldy windows, most of the clear coat is pealing. I see a cheap respray on the horizon. Possibly military, like planned for mine. Interior smells, ewww.

Anyway, for what we got it for, it'll keep the lad busy for a while. At worst, we'll part it out.

Pics tomorrow...

cheers

Never seen clear coat do this before...
It's let go of the base coat and stayed in one piece. Normally, or from what I've seen, the clear coat will crazy crack/crows foot, or peal off in pieces.

Matters not as it'll be getting a coat of paint. Just thought I'd share...
