Default Remember me wanting to stab somebody??

Order one radiator...

Receive one radiator...

From the computer screen to the front door, it went from Popeye to Olive Oyl. I've sent an e-mail.

Well, hopefully all sorted.
Very quick on the reply. Very accomodating and already sent a con-note through for me to put on the return parcel, being picked up tomorrow, and hopefully my correct rad will be here Friday.

cheers

I'm sorry. Quite often I'll post something cryptic, which to me is obvious.
The radiator in the listing is heavy duty. Heavy frame, 1" diameter filler neck, the upper and lower frames continues over the tank seam and over the end of the tank, on all four corners. Also, there's flat steel straps holding the top and bottom frames to the core.
The radiator I received on the other hand, has a very narrow neck, a pain to fill, a fine frame which narrows where it is brazed to the tank plates. It doesn't continue over the seam and onto the tank. And the upper and lower frames are held with 12g wire.

Cheers

I must admit I was a little stumped until you mentioned the differences, mine has the narrow filler neck, it is a pain...

I'd never would have known/seen those differences tbh. Again, added more to the knowledge database

Yeah, I must apologise people. I tend to do that often. One of my idiosyncrasies.

What I find hard to believe, is this radiator I was sent is an Adrad. I find it quite puny to be honest. And $100 dearer than the one I ordered.

I know every body touts the benefits of Adrad and how fantastic these radiators are, but looking at this one, I'm unimpressed. I'll take my cheaper heavier one I think.
I realise weight doesn't always equate to strength, but in this instance I think it just might. The added beef in the upper and lower frames will, in my mind, help stop the twist and hopefully premature failure.
