LuLu, Your having a tough time and now...MUD. I`m still waiting to hear, when you crank it and it DOSEN`T start do you have 12 volts at the green wire at the coil? This is my issue. Did a bunch more testing on mine this week. Found a forward O2 sensor that tested good on the bench but WAY out of spec when I check it with the engine running. Probably why it is idling rough and running rich. Still don`t think it has anything to do with the start problem. I ordered one so I`m bout to find out.

I tested my crank sensor again today and I was right it gets its 5.17 volts ok but the signal wire (which should be in millivolts) gets 5.17 volts its Fried the current is going straight through and fried the PCM I Bet!
My crank sensor has been plugged in backwards a few times .. there is no plug on the engine harness side just the 3 wires and the grey rubber seal its marked now so it wont happen again .....
anyway I have a new crank sensor coming from rockauto ......... 3 weeks all the way to the Aussie Outback!
Now I Wait!

did you order a "genuine Mopar"..and if so what was the Rock Auto part num and how much?

all this electronic stuff is reality, doesnt matter what brand, all sensors and ECU getting older...who has a 20+ yr old desktop computer that is still working?

So diagnosis and spares are needed, unless you go right back to carbs and points

You'd get bored if you went out and it started everytime.
And I'd have nothing to read.
