The filter is as you guys have said previous said. Injectors usual only need a bit of a clean.

All of this stuff im my opinion should be checked once a year. Never rely on you local to check everything. If you want an optimal running car, you need to do it yourself.

Driving carefully in my 4.0L TJ I get 15 around town and well under 9 on the highway. Driving a little harder around town can easily get close to 20. A few years back on a highway trip I filled up at a roadhouse and had a 140km clear trip to the next town. I got up to speed and put it in 6th at just under 100kph all the way (didn’t need to overtake or slow down, change gears ect..). The next roadhouse I filled up and saw economy at 6.4L. Never been able to do that again but have been low 8’s no trouble.
