Are those photos 'processed' or is your jeep actually that shiny?

Mine always looks like it just came out of a pig mud bath...even if I wash it!

I use a diffused light (professionals call it a Beauty Lamp) which has been modified to stay on, and then passed over the car during a long exposure.

Ha ha! Cheers Madrax. I shot its best side, with the most duco still on it! the style of photography makes the car seem glossier than it actually is. The bonnet is pretty shabby, but looks pretty good in the shots.

There's no processing in these shots apart from a little cropping to cut away distracting parts of the original pic. Everything in these photos are done in camera. On my Facebook page there are shots of varying work, from "in camera" work to highly processed "outline" or effect shots but I generally prefer the natural "in camera" shots (less effort!)

All I did to my car before the shoot was give it a wash. Other cars I've done have had full detail work done and they've come up like mirrors (makes my job real easy! ) but one car I shot (a Suzuki 4WD) was taken off road prior to its shoot! The owner wanted a "No Bones" approach to his car.

And hey, Bruggz! Cheers mate!
I'm sure we could make yours look shiny from less than 20 meters! ....18 or 19 perhaps? All good mate!

Ahh, light painting, I figured it might have been due to the light streaks down the car that didn't match the ambient, good effect, what camera do you use?
