Default 35x12.5x17 m/t claws on stock rubicon rims

Anyone running this combo or similiar?,il be using this tyre/rim combo with a 2" mopar lift & 1' body lift,1.5" alloy USA spacers & XHD modular front bar. What tyre pressure should i run?,this will have to do till i can afford 17x9 rims,i know i'm pushing it with 35s & stock 17x7.5 rims but i hear alot of JK owners use this combo with little or no problems.Il probably re gear to 4.88's if the 4.11's feel sluggish.Any Rubi rock rail or pinch seam mods required on 2010 JK Rubi unlimited?.

i dont know if you cant get that size tire on the stock wheel....

i run 35's on my rubi and could probably do with changing the ratios...

as for the lift, you should be able to get them on without the body lift... just make sure you bump stop correctly.

also, are you changing your flares?
35x12.5x17s on stock rims possible but not recommended as ive been told by the tyre guys, ballooning is one draw back, but iv'e read on US forums they run 26-28 psi to combat this,as for the flares il have to see how much the claws stick out before cashing out on wider ones. The jks ive seen using this combo stick out past the factory flares but not that much that i'd change straight away.I suppose i'l wait till the claws are fitted then go flex the Rubi offroad to see any clearance issues.

you can fit that size tyre on a stock rim, whether this is recommended is a different story. If anything it will create a much tighter bead but may find it a little wishy washy around corners.

I have the rubi with 35x12.5 tyres and the rear is very close to the rock rails but mine still clears under full flex, albeit close but a little bit is still clear without any scrubbing. my only issue with scrubbing was with my front TJM bar which i shifted up and out to rectify this but otherwise all good

Yeah i'll just wait till the 35s are fitted and then go play off road to see any possible clearance issues before hacking anything off the Rubi. Thanks for your info.

Finally got my 35" claws fitted to my stock rubi rims, they really made the Rubi look tough compared to the stock set up. I had to cut the pinch seam & about 1" off the rock rail as it was rubbing abit, Running 35psi at the moment to keep the tyre sensor monitor happy, i'l see how they wear & play with tyre pressures for even wearing & ride characteristics. As for the gearing the Rubi's 4.10s are pretty good so re-gearing is a personal option.

I am amazed the tyre people actually fitted them on 7.5" rims.
The do fit, but legally they should be fitted on 8-9" rims.
