Got around to doing mine after 12 months. Did the 'welded 21mm nut' trick and used a yabby pump as a lever. Putting it back in was a breeze after I Araldited the T60 into the adapter. I expect it will fall out after a while.

Try to loosen the bolt when engine oil is hot. The locktight is weaker when hot. AFAICR I used a T60 bit. Found one in half inch drive and punched the bit out of the socket. Put a good half inch spanner on to it with a bar over it. Worked for me.
