OMFG....... Just found the PDF overview on the Toyota Aus web site (along with some pics on the Toyota site). I really hope they are not pinning the future of Toyota on the sales, personally I think it will flop - makes the JK look super stylish to me!

http://www.toyota.com.au/toyota/vehi...T.ac=FJHPSaver

Reading the Toyota website they are saying "FJ Cruiser is the second brand-enhancing vehicle inside 12 months, following the recent launch of the eye-catching Rukus". Has anyone seen the Rukus? It's even fuglier than the FJ Cruiser.. I think the Toyota stylists need a looooong holiday.

If your worried about fuel you would never have a Jeep, as for the turning circle they turn on a stamp compared to my JK unlimited thats has a turning circle of a semi.

Having gone from a late model Prado to the JK I can say that the the JK is better if you need more articulation, but as a tourer the JK sucks badly compared to the Prado, from the mods that are being down to the FJ they seem a very capable vehicle off road & you can fit much bigger tyres on them compared to the Prado which is pretty well maxed out to 32's unless you do major mods, I like the FJ's

Must be a wide bugger, tis fitted with THREE wiper blades!! At least Toyota fitted a decent v6, 200kw should go pretty good. Unlike Chrysler with the bogus 3.8 POS van motor fitted to the JK range.
Looks are down to personal taste, but I reckon it looks uglier than a hat full of ar%@holes!!

Now that is extremely ugly, but I do like the original grille look... Saw one driving around Vic a few months ago and didn't know what it was...
