Depends on how much it costs, if less than 2k I'd be thinking about it.

Dont worry about it. Its a scam.
You havd to get ur rig serviced by jeep even than if there is something goes wrong they will give a hard time with warranty and at the end u will end up paying double.

If you keep on planning to keep it bone stock even than i wont bother

its hard to go over fine print as vehicle is at a dealer on other side of country.
heres the email i have just recieved about the extended warranty. she's said its a 'bumper to bumper' warranty and cover everything.

Hi Daniel,

As discussed over phone I’ve attached a warranty brochure for you. Extended warranty will commence after the New Warranty Expires.

Term options are as follows;

24month/100,000km $1390
36month/100,000km $1690

Alternatively should you feel you will exceed 100,000km within 5years there are some other term options available should you wish to discuss I’m happy to call.

Extending your new car warranty will not only give you piece of mind but will ensure that you are not up for any unexpected expensive repair costs whilst making your loan repayments. Extended Warranty Insurance covers ALL Manufacture faults up to the market value of the vehicle unlimited times. (parts, labour, reimbursement of personal expenses and rental vehicle were required are covered. Considering your car is a prestige vehicle, parts can be expensive)

I will forward an email on protection products,

Kind Regards

many of these extend warranty policies cover failure of parts only if the failure is unreasonable given the age and condition of the vehicle. take a 4wd offroad and then try getting a claim under that clause. but your life and up to you mate.

Mate I'm counting down to my warranty expiring. You probably should too.
In fact I think I'll celebrate in style with a big gift for my jeep...Its always wanted some axle & ratio mods

I don't think those prices are that ridiculous for the terms given provided it actually gives you the cover you expect. As others have said if they have any room to wriggle out of a claim I probably wouldn't bother.
