Fuse Box - what does M11 do?

In the fuse box, there is a 10A fuse in M11 that keeps shorting out on my car. It is labelled "IOD-HVAC/ATC, MW SENSR, UH LMP".

According to http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f96/j...iagram-959526/ I can discern it is for:

HVAC - air conditioning?
ATC - unsure
MW SENSR - no idea
UH LMP - underhood lamp

Given that my aircon works ok and I have no underhood lamp (not an Aus option), what are ATC and MW SENSR? Everything in the car seems to work fine.

How do you know it's blown if you don't know what it does?

I was checking out the fuses and that one was blown and the replacement blew as well. Circuit is live even without the ignition or accessories on.

IOD = Ignition Off Draw
HVAC/ATC = Heating Venting Air Conditioning / Automatic Temperature Control
MW SENSR = got me stumped (thats not the official description)
UH LMP = UnderHood Lamp

Why you need power to the airconditioning system with ignition off is a little strange...

Have been searching for a while now (I'm bored this afternoon..) and can not find any info on the MW SENSR

So if my aircon and heating work and I don't have ATC (climate control, I assume is the English term for it) what does the fuse do? Hrm.

The only thing I can assume about it being live is that the circuit goes to a relay controlled by the vehicle management system...

mate, i just typed MW sensor into the search engine and got "microwave sensor", a sensor used for stable motion detection in alarm systems. you don't have a motion alarm system by any chance" would explain why it is live with ignition off.

Its the stock description from the owners manual for the fuse... Strangley pretty much everything else is explained in plain english plus the abbreviation - except for the MW SENSR....
