I used to run my pulsar on BP ultimate because it was so gutless and it made a noticeable power differance, also it was so cheap to run so the higher cost was barely noticeable. But I'm tempted to run the jeep on the cheap ethanol stuff to help keep the running costs down a little.
What's everyone else using? And what are your thoughts?
The e10 fuels is a couple of cents cheaper due to the increase in fuel consumption so basically dollars to km is near on the same as normal unleaded.
There's nothing wrong with e10 so long as its not for a boat or mower, e10 does not like to store and is hygroscopic . Once it absorbs moisture it will separate and rust any steel tank .
Similar to running hi octane fuels u get more k's and its dearer so dollars to k's will be similar to normal unleaded. Haven't test this but that's my understanding
I personally put the best fuels and oils in any car I own.

if i recall correctly i was once reading a US jeep forum (don't remember which) discussing ethanol fuel and I believe it was causing problems with the 4.0L engine or it was not advisable to run it. Sorry but I can't remember why. I prefer higher octane over standard unleaded but run either.
I run 98 when ever possible. I was amazed to actually see a difference in mileage on my over head console trip comp. Today at 105kph I was getting 13.5 LPH. Where as the other day I was getting 17-18 and the only difference was I could not get 95 or 98 for about 7-8 days as they don't sell it where I live. In all honesty I dont think the extra mileage is that much but over the years I have used it I estimate it is about 10% better economy on 98. The other thing my Bro in Law who is a mech told me is the cleaner 98 doesn't block up fuel filters with brown sludge that he can blow out with the compressor like unleaded does.
