Orange to Mudgee in NSW

Has anyone driven from Orange to Mudgee recently via the Dixon’s long point river crossing at Macquarie river? I’ve never driven it and I’m wondering how challenging it is after recent rains. Also any idea of the drive time would be appreciated.
We are in a GC Trailhawk with air suspension and no snorkel.

Found out the old fashion way by driving down the road.
Road is easy, river crossing not so. Couple of locals who were fishing advised against crossing the river due to depth so we turned around and went the long way. We couldn’t get to Hill End via the Bridle track either as it still closed so camped a stones throw away from Hill End by the river.
