Default Wrangler wheels on a WK

Hello all, I have a 2012 WK Grand Cherokee Overland 3.6 with the 265 / 50 / R20 tyres. Its time for new tryes. Was wondering if any one has used a JL Wrangler factory wheel and trye (245 / 75 / R17) on their Grand Cherokee. I know the Wrangler tyres are about an inch taller and about an inch thinner but I don't know about the offset of either the 20 inch or 17 inch wheels. Has anyone done the wheel and trye swap?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the 17" wrangler rims clear the HD brakes on the Oz WK2's. Might be ok on the petrol version if they don't have HD brakes but I think (illegal) spacers are still required. I've seen quite a few WK2's with the 18" wrangler sahara rims though.

Pretty sure the 17's don't fit, lots of threads over the years about it, if you can get the measurements use this link to see what will fit...

As others have said, a very very limited selection of 17s fit the Aus WK2s with the larger front brakes, and Wrangler 17s are not one of the options (without spacers and a bit of trimming to the brake calliper)

The 17's don;t fit but the 18's do. I snagged a brand new set of the Wrangler Overland rims very cheap, whacked em on, they fit fine, however the offset is different and they sit too far inwards and look goofy.
Eventually scored a set of SRT rims which have a great offset and sit further out into the guards.
