yeah, i saw the same one but never figured out if the AW4 was the same as their reference to "A518" & "A618". looks the same tho hey? time for MORE research

ok, just figured out the A518 and A618 trannys are versions of the 727 Torqueflite so completely different
back to the drawing board

What about installing a cooler IN a deep pan and plumbing it to an outside cooling source via an electric pump. Something different..

I LIKE IT! just need a deep pan (the tricky part). im wondering if the reason no deep pans are available is due to the tranny crossmember restricting clearance?
