still built to cummins standards and it is marketed to be a world engine. It costs to much for a car brand of any type these days to build their own type diesel engine. Cummins that's all they do is engine's as you should know. What engine is Nissan using in their v8 pickups sold in the states?. Cummins because they can't afford to build their own engine, they lost on how to build a engine after the 4.2. Cummins overhead cam 5.0 v8 they are using for the 2015 MY. Dude

No I have not used china made wheel bearings as mine are the original ones still going well 340,000kms. if you paid good money for crap wheel bearings then I am sorry for you too. I will only run genuine components in my steering and suspension. I hate cheap stuff just as much as you do. My mower is masport with 6hp briggs. Wipper snipper is Honda. Chainsaw's are echo so I try to only use the best I can get. So yes dude I don't have a chonda engine. I just rebuilt my 12 hp briggs for the Ride on mower and I used all genuine parts imported from the states. Rebore, piston kit, gasket kit, park plug from $250. Cheaper than your chonda eh. Briggs will last another 30 years looked after. I know cheap crap dude. All I am saying is that this maybe the start of some quality back into the diesel engines.

Hey DUDE I don't think ya picking up what's been put down. Your last sentence above sums up were you have it wrong... Quality = Cummins tried and tested.... Chinese = Crap as a rule..............
By the way I run Still chainsaw's and brush cutter, the new one's less that 12 months old don't seem to be as good as my 20 year old one. Could now be made in China who noes. Next time I'll go Husky. DUDE..........

Well I spoke to a bloke at work today that worked for cummins for 20 years and he told me that cummins has been in China for more than 15 years and has supplied engines for chines built bulldozers and most other earth moving equipment. So cummins has not just started there overnight. They (cummins) can make more profit by building the engines over there.
