Got this reply from Samco:

Hello steve,

We may look into tooling for this kit if enough interest was shown, could you ask how many people may be interested on your forum?

We would really need orders for 15 – 20 kits for tooling to be commissioned; I would also need a set of new stock hoses for tooling.

Regards,

Mark.

Also going to see MTQ Turbo's in Rocky this afternoon. It going to be a toss up between something that may look ugly but to the job (MTQ- basically will be a hotch potch of joined together hoses and bends) or Samco which will just be one hose.

As I understand the prices are about $30-40 Pounds per hose (so about $180-$200 a set depending on what the Aussie Dollar is doing). Will has a costing for the MTQ hoses this afternoon.

Pirteck etc etc sent me to the Turbo Specialist, the problem is that Silicon Hoses don't bend!

Hmm, I may be tempting fate here but I am not sure I like the idea of $200 for a hose...

Does anybody know what the stock hose replacement would cost?

Price would be for 2 x hoses.

Just got back from MTQ. $300.00 would buy enough Silicon bends and straights to do it. Then we would need some Aluminium bands/hose clamps etc etc, so probably around $400.00 and, like I said before, a tad ugly.

Called into Pirtek, they are chasing a lead in Brisbane. Evidently a guy put a Supercharger on a H3 Hummer and this mod fab'd up some Silicon hoses for that. Should have a name this afternoon and will chase us up.

For your information, the bloke from MTQ (who are the Turbo People) said that the factory standard hoses, upon inspection, were "Rubbish".
