Default steering stabiliser/dampener suggestions

Just wondering what other WJ owners are using for steering stabilisers/dampeners?

I have a tough dog and it seems to hang a bit low, as seen from the pics. Funny, I have had the car for five years and only just noticed it seems to hang this way.

I don't run one, still seems to steer alright on and offroad. Iron rock offroad sells a kit to relocate it between the track bar mount and drag-link.

Won't be a problem unless you are going over serious bumps, steering dampers just reduce bump steer.

thanks, I miss typed and meant you don't notice any issues off road.

I've read conflicting reports about pros and cons of removing it altogether.

I don't do any hardcore stuff and tend to go around difficult things if I can avoid them as I want to get to campsites, not spend time winching myself out etc.

Mmmmm...interesting.

I have this kit but does not really work on a right hand driver. I also have the regular damper from IRO. The kit is basically the same just with some additional clamp and screws. However, it scratches the track bar since it has the bump for going around the differential. I was planning to build a dual damper this summer on mine before the lockdown happened. Not sure when we ever can go out so I have put all my Jeep efforts to a hold. Will only continue once we know when things get back to normal.

I mounted mine above the bracket on the diff rather than inside it, so its only a single shear setup now buts its a couple inches higher than it was.
