Default REP CD/MP3 Sat Nav system

Hi all,

Im very seriously considering purchasing a new wrangler sports (renegade pack) and was having a flick through the accessories brochure and came across the REP stereo/sat nav system.

Id really like a sat nav system and from what i have seen in the brochure it looks pretty good - especially with the HDD and DVD in park thing.

I have had a search through the interweb but cant find any info on it - like RRP, Reviews, thoughts, likes or dislikes...

I know i could probably get a better cheaper system after market butblike the idea of getting a straight from the dealer right to go type thing..

Does anyone out there know anything about these systems????

Cheers

Why you can't find any reviews is cos it's not out here yet..... Due early next year....
They haven't got the sat nav working correctly yet....

I've used the MYGIG in the nitro and was pretty cool with the built in hard drive and sat nav etc etc but it's a pretty dear option at $3000 or $3500... I can't remember...

Don't think we'll see many out here.. But then again i could be wrong...

Really... sounds like a fair reason to me !!! Thanks for that !

So the next question is... If i were to order one this weekend - it should have a march(ish) delivery date. Would these be dealer fitted or would it have to be factory fitted?

Dealer fitted i should be able to squeaze in - factory i dont think i will have an option !!

I will talk to the dealer about this on the weekend... just trying to get a bit of a heads up on what could be possible !!

Get them to upgrade the tires to 265/75/16's they will organise the credit for the standard tyres. Tell them you want Cooper ATR's or ST's all 5 swaped over and dont pay more then $750.

Definatly recomend the renegade pack and the MyGig is $2500 form what i remember or it could of been $2000... From what i have read there are better systems out there but the factory look does look nice. for me though it comes down to value for money so im going to go after market Sat Nav with 7inch wide screen and mount it above the rear view mirror as the standard head unit plays DVD.

I installed an Eclipse AVN6000 Sat Nav/CD/MP3/DVD/ + rear camera for $3500 AUD.

Keep the price in mind when comparing to the factory Mygig.
